After a rather tough play, Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 17th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herbert Kruse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Brian Færø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. The audience cheered when Philippe Ambroise's long shot passed Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen's right side. It was 2-2, 60 minutes into the match. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Kruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. After a rather tough play, Vestmanna FS's Alex Rói Jacobsen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernso Constant hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, Vestmanna FS's Amed Olsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noel Seide came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vestmanna FS reached it. Ernso Constant kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A hard shot by Alex Rói Jacobsen from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Noel Seide's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Vestmanna FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Højsted to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Haiti booed when Vestmanna FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Matras didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gesner Philippe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vestmanna FS's Herbert Kruse in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haiti's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Færø got free with Noel Seide in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
