Quebra Ossos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Chicote in the 8th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quebra Ossos FC's Luisinho Cardoso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejandro Villa, made in the 11th minute of the game. Alfredo Ferrant might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ferrant ran back to his position shaking his head. Quebra Ossos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig scored to the left of an out of position Richard Breckenfeld, making the score, 2-0. Eduardo Fontirroig had several of the Quebra Ossos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Richard Breckenfeld as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Telmo Salles got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Corrêa. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Miralles in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Quebra Ossos FC's Luisinho Cardoso. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Queirós was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 54th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Julio Chicote notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld. Richard Breckenfeld was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Alfredo Ferrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ismael Tejedor made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quebra Ossos FC's Sílvio Corrêa. 74 minutes into the game, Sílvio Corrêa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolivia's Ismael Tejedor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Richard Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Chicote in the 83rd minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Chicote in the 85th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 92nd minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bolivia had won after a very even match.
