Mariusz Bejgier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Emmanuel got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Bejgier saved Hagfors from getting behind. Colas Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Herminio Emmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Herminio Emmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute Colas Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Feng Bo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariusz Bejgier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hagfors's Feng Bo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hagfors's Jaime Jaume got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tomas Illescas in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariusz Bejgier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78th match minute, Hagfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Berglund to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Colas Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Herminio Emmanuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Emmanuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Emmanuel in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feng Bo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Konrad Arenberg with Herminio Emmanuel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hagfors had won after a very even match.
