Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Formentera's Eustaquio Bartuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ariel Libertad hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Formentera's Domingo Urki shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Domingo Urki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 65th minute of the match. Eustaquio Bartuelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Bartuelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Urki got free with Jacobo Nores in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Napier to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Formentera's Domingo Urki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-7 after 84 minutes of play. After 89 minutes of play, Formentera's Domingo Urki made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Urki went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Formentera's performance. The match ended with a win for Formentera.
