Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Francisco Seco in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hilario Ramos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A sloppy throw-in by Baltasar Fortun in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 7 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Ramos. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hilario Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Alberto Gisbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Hilario Ramos made a huge save. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Hilario Ramos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. Fulgencio Javiero charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Javiero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulgencio Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Jaime Cazalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hilario Ramos. Jaime Cazalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Micky Capusotto made a kick off. Hilario Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Jaime Cazalla made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Ramos. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Hilario Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. Francisco Seco scored 8-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Montel's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Montel helped the player get up and apologised. Godfredo Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hilario Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. In the 96th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Uruguay fully deserved thier win.
