Vestmanna FS's Meinhardt Pauli Jacobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlus Waugh in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vestmanna FS's Per Matras got a free kick in the 18th minute. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Kruse in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Romon Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Vestmanna FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leron Sale hit a great ball. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Herbert Kruse made the kick off in the second half. Mortan Nolsøe hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Færø, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th match minute, Vestmanna FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Højsted to maneuver through the defense.
