The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denizhan Onatkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reşat Irgatbaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 63rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. sirince's Denizhan Onatkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save sirince from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denizhan Onatkan. sirince's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 71 played minutes sirince got a freekick which was hit by Sezer Elmacıoğlu. In the 73rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Aureliusz Indyk kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sezer Elmacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Denizhan Onatkan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 86th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Denizhan Onatkan. sirince's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 92nd match minute, sirince was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsene Gallot to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
