The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The corner led Canada's Richard Mccarthy to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik Kramer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hendrik Kramer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canada fully deserved thier win.
