Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After some careless play in the La Pachorra LSF defense, Orlando Casaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zethos Vrotsos. The La Pachorra LSF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zethos Vrotsos should have stopped the shot. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zethos Vrotsos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zethos Vrotsos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Carballar in the 62nd minute. After 71 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zethos Vrotsos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Nelson Cuevas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pachorra LSF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. La Pachorra LSF made a substitution. Feliciano Telo replaced Generoso Rufio. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veto Steller in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Veto Steller came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Pachorra LSF made a substitution. Luís Fernando Brasil replaced Desiderio Dominix. With a little luck, La Pachorra LSF's Zethos Vrotsos got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
