Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Igor Souza got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Galen Kvick during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Galen Kvick hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Vista Alegre FC's Dudu Magalhães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 18th minute. Igor Souza struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vista Alegre FC. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes Vista Alegre FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Ronaldo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 41st minute, Galen Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Clementi came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Jordy Hoes. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Luca Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldo de Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 63rd minute. Vista Alegre FC's Lex Nelis was substituted for Igor Souza. The throw-in from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vista Alegre FC's Galen Kvick. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Elias Proença replaced Jordy Hoes. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Vista Alegre FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vista Alegre FC's goalie and right to Facundo Cadaval. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vista Alegre FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldo de Moraes. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo made a throw-in which Facundo Cadaval played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldo de Moraes. That made the score 1-4 after 84 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto de Azevedo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Vergílio came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vista Alegre FC's Norberto de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Norberto de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Alegre FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo de Moraes came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
