Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Evangelista started the match with the kick off. Acácio Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Millo's Cristobal Nesor got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. El Millo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that El Millo's Sergio Caton managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 14 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Millo's Sergio Caton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes El Millo got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Oliveira. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Evangelista went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Marcelo Evangelista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Millo's Sergio Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Evangelista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Caton having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Caton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of El Millo booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Edmundo Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Edmundo Espiga a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. In the 55th minute, Cristobal Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Zammit, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. El Millo's Sergio Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save El Millo from getting a goal against them. Horacio Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Millo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Horacio Tipi hit a great ball. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sergio Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Millo's Zacarias Fix got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Sergio Caton in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Millo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
