Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marciano Garcia started the match with the kick off. Gilberto Dacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 4th minute. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Dacio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 6th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Itacaruaré FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré FC's Roque Orlan got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Dacio. Itacaruaré FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Dacio saved Itacaruaré FC from getting behind. Gilberto Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Ledesma in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Dacio saved Itacaruaré FC from getting behind. Gilberto Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Dacio made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Dacio. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Erasmo Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Dacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gilberto Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Gilberto Dacio made a huge save. Gilberto Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Eriberto Ledesma notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Dacio. Gilberto Dacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Dacio saved Itacaruaré FC from getting behind. Gilberto Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Dacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Dacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Dacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaruaré FC's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Dacio came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
