Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Florencio Jax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chen Feng Jian to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Vatan Enfal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Vatan Enfal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Mercurio San Martín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Björnberg came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Rickard Erserman replaced Vatan Enfal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Anton Björnberg in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Björnberg. That made the score 3-2 in the 84 minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Jax went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Inter de Chillán were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
