Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Mihele came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Ghizdeanu got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vintilă Mihuț. After having played for 21 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Mihele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Mugur Tăbăcaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pardina's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Tăbăcaru came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Pardina defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Tăbăcaru. The Pardina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Tăbăcaru should have stopped the shot. Moises Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mugur Tăbăcaru having to make a save. The throw-in from Petruț Ghizdeanu in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 37 minutes into the game, Petruț Ghizdeanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Pârâianu got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ion Pârâianu made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Mugur Tăbăcaru in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Mugur Tăbăcaru. Calistrat Musceleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Mihele came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Petrică Scutaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Sebastian Villa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mugur Tăbăcaru to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes into the match, Dan Mihele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Mihele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Musceleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Musceleanu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
