In the 15th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Lunca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariano Lacasa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Ignat Nozharov. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 23rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mădălin Lunca having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mădălin Lunca made a huge save. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Sakarias Fernkvist with Benjamin da Fonseca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Benjamin da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pesqueira City's goal. Benjamin da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Pesqueira City's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pesqueira City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
