Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Garth Brough made the kick off which started today's match. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Rufus Roach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Rufus Roach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 15 minutes, Garth Brough made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 24th minute of play. Garth Brough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Garth Brough sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Garth Brough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. After 40th play minutes Garth Brough shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Garth Brough scored 9-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Rufus Roach, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Australian Youth Academy's attentive Ellis Hoskin managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Garth Brough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Rufus Roach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 76th minute of the match. Hugo Ferrant made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Australian Youth Academy's Jason Butterfield. When Rufus Roach came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Roach couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 81st minute of the match. Boyd Allan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Garth Brough took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0.
