The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Rang in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honduras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
