A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Telmo Salles with Osmar Eger as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Telmo Salles got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronaldo Galvão. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Telmo Salles in the 11 minute of the game. Telmo Salles made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and João Augusto Bittencourt immediately put the ball in play. After 20 minutes, Sílvio Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebra Ossos FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Corrêa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Téo Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Honduras's Sebastian Villa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Telmo Salles in the 31 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Fonseca saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Alexandre Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Alexandre Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Bittencourt in the 43rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Quebra Ossos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Téo Fonseca as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Téo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 60th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Téo Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Telmo Salles, made in the 83rd minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Osmar Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebra Ossos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Pombal's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Alexandre Pombal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 3-1.
