Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the game Telmo Salles made a throw-in which Ronaldo Galvão played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Telmo Salles made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 96th minute of the game Telmo Salles made a throw-in which Osmar Eger played forward. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
