Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Artur Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachariasz Ratulowski during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Rothenburg SSA got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Ratulowski. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Borubar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Pruss came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Pruss in the 17th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Igor Dembowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rothenburg SSA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Rothenburg SSA got a freekick which was hit by Igor Dembowski. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Borubar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Zbyszek Werra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Rothenburg SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Golaszewski to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Piotr Kociniewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Piotr Kociniewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Borubar saved Rothenburg SSA from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Piotr Kociniewski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Dembowski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Borubar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Rothenburg SSA getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lucjan Golaszewski hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kajetan Pruss made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomasz Jajecznica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rothenburg SSA's Antoni Grondzki was substituted for Tomasz Jajecznica. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Werra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rothenburg SSA's Kajetan Pruss got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match Rothenburg SSA got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Golaszewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Michalski in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Lucjan Golaszewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Rothenburg SSA. Igor Dembowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 4-2. The Rothenburg SSA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
