Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Philip Sandwall took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, George Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bluehills Rovers's David Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 5th minute of play. Peter Skog hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, George Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Bertil Heggert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Heggert in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Bluehills Rovers's Bertil Heggert got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Sven-Olof Vollander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bluehills Rovers and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Bluehills Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Vollander to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Bluehills Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but David Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. David Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Melberg in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Philip Sandwall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bluehills Rovers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Heggert in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 62 played minutes Bluehills Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Ahlgren. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Berg having to interfere. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Sandwall in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Philip Sandwall made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Bertil Heggert scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Sandwall in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Heggert in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Bluehills Rovers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jan-Olof Ahlgren hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Skog, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
