But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯兵无常势水无常形 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. 宋志坤 hit a great ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭冰俊 in the 19th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭冰俊 in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 肖谦希 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. 潘威鹏 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. 40 minutes into the game, 宋志坤 threw the ball into play from the sideline. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for 肖谦希 to make any attempt to save it. 吕延云 kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
