In the 21st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Dionisius Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Pinho got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pedro Luís Cordeiro. After 89 played minutes Dionisius Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Duda Godoi. In the 93rd minute, Pedro Luís Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisius Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Bolivia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dionisius Futebol Clube had won, even though Bolivia had held more of the ball.
