Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ademir Soares made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Jeremias Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos De Cotia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jeremias Seco sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Meninos De Cotia got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramon Del Piero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ramon Del Piero charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Del Piero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Del Piero to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hugo Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 23rd minute, Ademir Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. Silvestre Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Soares in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Meninos De Cotia's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Del Piero in the 41st minute. The supporters of Meninos De Cotia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Ademir Soares scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. With 56 minutes on the clock, Vilgot Cane commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meninos De Cotia! Ramon Del Piero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ademir Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Del Piero in the 79th minute of play. Ramon Del Piero took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Corderro during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvestre Corderro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Ademir Soares got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meninos De Cotia's Ademir Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ademir Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ademir Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meninos De Cotia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
