Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Hugo Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Seco in the 25th minute. Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 26th minute of play. Genílson Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of the match. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hugo Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Soares in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Jeremias Seco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Jeremias Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Meninos De Cotia from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hugo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Seco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Corderro. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ademir Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ademir Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
