Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Correa in the 19th minute of play. Venezuela's attentive Jonathan Venegas managed to snatch the ball when Fu Wei Di made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Dedê de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Dedê de Castro. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Abandon All Hope's Michal Arendarski. But to his dismay, Michal Arendarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 47th minute Gilbert Gorzkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Gilbert Gorzkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Gorzkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Michal Arendarski had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th match minute, Abandon All Hope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fu Wei Di to maneuver through the defense. Ye Hongs short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Arendarskis short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Gorzkiewicz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Arendarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abandon All Hope's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
