Chaba Messaoudi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 柳真誉 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nassim Hamrouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Mohammed Zemmamouche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mohammed Zemmamouche stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lautaro Navarro. 3-2. 86 minutes into the match, Şerif Durusan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şerif Durusan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Anton Kahra made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mohammed Zemmamouche immediately put the ball in play. If Jacek Bienienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sebastian Villa fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Sebastian Villa a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
