In the 16thth minute of the game Florian Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Antonio Indiano got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Fellipe Capixaba went to the cornerflag to take it. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Florian Capasso came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Capasso couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Florian Capasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 40th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento managed to work through Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Abram Sarmiento dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Florian Capasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Florian Capasso made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Anderson Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After 66 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Vidal. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a huge save. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 71st minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Mauro-Facundo Buffon in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hélder Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 91st minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 94th minute of play. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
