Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Szymon Iwaszko got the match started through his kick off. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Wiktor Juszkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Juszkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC LSG's Wiktor Juszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 16th minute of play. When Zbyszek Motowski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC LSG's protests and gave Zbyszek Motowski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC LSG getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zbyszek Motowski hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanek Siekierski. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tanek Siekierski. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Iwaszko in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Szymon Iwaszko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Tanek Siekierski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Tanek Siekierski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanek Siekierski got free with Benito Sanz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute of the match FC LSG got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanek Siekierski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tanek Siekierski made a great header on FC LSG's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Szymon Iwaszko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Tanek Siekierski made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Siekierski in the 62nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Siekierski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jan Frankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC LSG's Tanek Siekierski got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC LSG booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Iwaszko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. During the 89th minute of the match Eliseo Noboa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jan Frankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jan Frankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Zbyszek Motowski came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC LSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Motowski couldn't finish the play. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FC LSG players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
