Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Flores Arlt's Marcial Ourente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Ourente in the 3rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Marcial Ourente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flores Arlt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ourente in the 15th minute of the match. Efrain Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes Flores Arlt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Pedro Indiano drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Flores Arlt's goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of play forced Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's Marcial Ourente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Efrain Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Marcial Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Flores Arlt's Marcial Ourente made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flores Arlt made a substitution. Sabin Răchită replaced Marcial Ourente. Flores Arlt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Osmundo in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Guillem. That made the score 3-4 after 65 minutes of play. Flores Arlt's Gerardo Giro was substituted for Edelmiro Osmundo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Răchită in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Efrain Guillem made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Gerardo Giro put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. In the 76th match minute, Flores Arlt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Bedoya to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chile booed when Flores Arlt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerardo Giro was slow to take the kick. During this time Flores Arlt's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Flores Arlt's Gerardo Giro to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guaberto Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Orlando Casaus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Efrain Guillem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Flores Arlt's Lin Wei Feng got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Simon Fertus fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flores Arlt's protests and gave Simon Fertus a yellow card for diving instead. Flores Arlt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
