Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Tellier's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Berto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tellier booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Morales in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Tellier's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Apolo Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tellier's Apolo Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Apolo Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tellier's Apolo Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tinko Nonev hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Berto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Berto. Apolo Berto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Vedillo in the 43rd minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Vedillo in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Tellier's Pastor Phelipe got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Apolo Berto made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Berto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Berto having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Tellier's Marco Hats made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Tellier's goalkeeper Apolo Berto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tellier.
