The corner was taken by Tibor Pucheli in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Zoltán Kozák capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zoltán Kozák really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Simon Puja threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Félix Moravecz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes FlagellumDei got a freekick which was hit by Félix Moravecz. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Pucheli came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 33rd minute of play forced FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, FlagellumDei's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tibor Pucheli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Félix Moravecz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FlagellumDei booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Moravecz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Félix Moravecz in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Kozák was the one to do the kick off. Félix Moravecz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Zoltán Kozák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FlagellumDei from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Osasun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Félix Moravecz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
