Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inocencio Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes SIDI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Octavio Orlondo could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Arano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SIDI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clodoveo Mogel in the 33rd minute. The corner led to SIDI's Ernesto Seguinus getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julio Vera was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Eliseo Arano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Arano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Inocencio Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Eliseo Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Eliseo Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Arano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Octavio Orlondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIDI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, SIDI's Inocencio Raulo got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after SIDI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 63 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Inocencio Raulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Inocencio Raulo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Raulo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that SIDI's Inocencio Raulo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 74 minutes SIDI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SIDI's Rafael Marquéz was substituted for Clodoveo Mogel. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Lammens came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SIDI booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but SIDI were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
