Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Claudio Echeverri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Baran Sarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Echeverri might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Echeverri ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Claudio Echeverri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Baran Sarka:s penalty. In the 13th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ríver Late's Claudio Echeverri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Echeverri came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Echeverri might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Echeverri ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri. 26 minutes into the game, Claudio Echeverri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorien Blanco made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Claudio Echeverri immediately put the ball in play. Claudio Echeverri might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Echeverri ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Echeverri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Claudio Echeverri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles did a great save. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Echeverri came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Echeverri took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ríver Late made a substitution. Carl Skytt replaced Silvério Vargas. Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ríver Late from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Geovani de Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani de Salles was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani de Salles having to interfere. Ríver Late made a substitution. Dimas Barrientos replaced Claudio Echeverri. After having played for 76 minutes, Carl Skytt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Skytt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Geovani de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Skytt in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carl Skytt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos. But to his dismay, Dimas Barrientos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Dimas Barrientos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimas Barrientos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Skytt went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Dimas Barrientos notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute of the game Dolfo Clemente made a throw-in which Emiliano Gai played forward. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
