Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play forced Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Stein Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiambalá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stein Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Thomas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fiambalá's Lukas Sticher got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Gaztea in the 26th minute of the match. Fiambalá's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Helmut Lips in the 28th minute. Helmut Lips made a great header on Fiambalá's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Victoriano Gaztea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victoriano Gaztea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Moraes in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by David Bucciarelli from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. David Bucciarelli struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiambalá. After a rather tough play, Fiambalá's Helmut Lips got a free kick in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when David Bucciarelli made the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Fiambalá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fiambalá:s goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fiambalá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Sticher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Jamieson in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelino Thomas. The goal made the score 2-1. Fiambalá's Angelino Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Victoriano Gaztea notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Bucciarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Victoriano Gaztea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fiambalá fully deserved thier win.
