In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalkeeper 鲁谦烨, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 鲁谦烨 came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 鲁谦烨 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 沈皓旭 lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute, one of 【FLY】莱比锡红牛:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 【FLY】莱比锡红牛. The goalkeeper, 鲁谦烨, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 严文朗 in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 68th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but 鲁谦烨 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 68th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which 鲁谦烨 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 严文朗 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
