Family siempre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juss Anderson in the 7th minute. Family siempre's Hannan Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannan Hamdani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play forced Family siempre's goalkeeper Hannan Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannan Hamdani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hannan Hamdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Family siempre's Segundo Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hannan Hamdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alberto Tafalla advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 40th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Rencio was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Family siempre getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dalmacio Lauaxeta hit a great ball. Hannan Hamdani made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, Family siempre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Family siempre's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannan Hamdani came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Vigil in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Vigil came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hannan Hamdani. That made the score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. After 83 played minutes Family siempre got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Vigil. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannan Hamdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Family siempre's Ernesto Stanislao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Rencio in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
