Marco Day came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Amador Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Amador Venceslao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, USA's Dan Wennerqvist threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Baker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 81 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Baker. In the 82nd minute, Rodolfo Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zézinho Neiva hit a great ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 93rd minute of play. Sam Campbell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dan Wennerqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but Soroca F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
