Gustavo Eladio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Camilo Freixa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. BELGRANO's Adolfo Guib got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Joshua Miralles in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C. A. BELGRANO's Washington Santos. C. A. BELGRANO's Amancio Pinto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Miralles in the 11 minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Eladio. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Eladio's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Miralles during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute of the match Gustavo Eladio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Eladio came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Miralles made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Julio Chicote immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of C. A. BELGRANO booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. In the 35th minute Rigoberto Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolivia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Eladio was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. BELGRANO's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C. A. BELGRANO's Jaime Alfonso to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joshua Miralles hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. C. A. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Lauaxeta in the 43rd minute of the match. Alfonso de la Cruz's late challenge caught a C. A. BELGRANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso de la Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Lauaxeta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Eladio to make the kick off. BELGRANO's Gustavo Eladio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustavo Eladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Eladio ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adolfo Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Aureliano Ovando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Ovando in the 78th minute of the match. BELGRANO's Jaime Alfonso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Freixa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. BELGRANO reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. A. BELGRANO fully deserved thier win.
