Aníbal Prado lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brasiliense FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Laguna to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Pedro Augusto Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Gustavo Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Kılıç Kerim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kılıç Kerim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brasiliense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kılıç Kerim in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Xuacu Xuan made a huge save. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Xuacu Xuan got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kılıç Kerim came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kılıç Kerim in the 93rd minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
