An unexpectedly hard shot by Kılıç Kerim in the 6th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xuacu Xuan saved Brasiliense FC from getting behind. In the 11th minute Kılıç Kerim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xuacu Xuan having to interfere. Breno Recife hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Xuacu Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 20th minute of play. Panama were furious when Dylan Sarmiento was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 24 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Xuacu Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Pedro Augusto Chaves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 31st playminute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Panțâru in the 35th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuacu Xuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Breno Recife hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuacu Xuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıç Kerim, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tudor Panțâru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasiliense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Panțâru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Xuacu Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Panțâru in the 56th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Panțâru in the 64th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kılıç Kerim came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xuacu Xuan having to interfere. If Tudor Panțâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Panțâru scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Tudor Panțâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Kılıç Kerim. But to his dismay, Kılıç Kerim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 81 minutes into the game, Tudor Panțâru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brasiliense FC's Xuacu Xuan didn't even have to move.
