Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Éder Madureira in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Serafim Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Yu Yang Sang sent off a good shot on target. If Serafim Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Trigo. Sagarana Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedito Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Éder Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Éder Madureira went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yu Yang Sang in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sagarana Clube's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedito Trigo came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedito Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 45 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Benedito Trigo made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedito Trigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Benedito Trigo made a huge save. In the 56th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éder Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Éder Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles was substituted for Éder Madureira. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. Fabrício de Alcântara replaced Zé Roberto da Costa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Benedito Trigo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafim Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes Sagarana Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Macos Graciani to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedito Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Bruno Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Rupert Dearden got a free kick in the 94th minute.
