Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filip Pantiș started the match with the kick off. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. Ionică Corcoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mihăiţă Jder hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Codrin Izbașa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Izbașa ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Yin Li Ying managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters rose to their feet, but Yin Li Ying was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Li Ying in the 31st minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Eintracht Cernavoda getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mihăiţă Jder hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionică Corcoveanu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Eintracht Cernavoda's Mikael Isak was substituted for Philip Walter. After 55 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Corcoveanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Izbașa in the 58th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Li Ying came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Li Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ionică Corcoveanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 94th minute of play. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
