Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Pantiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Corcoveanu saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. Ionică Corcoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eintracht Cernavoda's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Corcoveanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Filip Pantiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eintracht Cernavoda's Philip Walter quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionică Corcoveanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eintracht Cernavoda's Flavius Stanciu. 32 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu. Eintracht Cernavoda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Yin Li Ying's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yin Li Ying could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. After 41 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Philip Walter who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Eintracht Cernavoda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.

Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Mikael Isak replaced Philip Walter. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ionică Corcoveanu to make any attempt to save it. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ionică Corcoveanu made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Izbașa in the 59th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ionică Corcoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Ionică Corcoveanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Codrin Izbașa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Codrin Izbașa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionică Corcoveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Eintracht Cernavoda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chile:s goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Pantiș in the 78th minute of play. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 97th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
