Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Valts Nebars fired a really elegant long shot, but Jonathan Ferrant threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ģirts Ozols came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ingvars Tresters made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ģirts Ozols immediately put the ball in play. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ģirts Ozols reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. When DZINTARS's Bryant Solis in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when DZINTARS's Bryant Solis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryant Solis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bryant Solis was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kārlis Dzintars went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kārlis Dzintars in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute DZINTARS were awarded a corner. Egons Ozollapa went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Kārlis Dzintars drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. A sloppy throw-in by Ingvars Tresters in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. A collision led to DZINTARS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ingvars Tresters hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Henrihs Linkūns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bryant Solis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bryant Solis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes DZINTARS got a freekick which was hit by Ingvars Tresters. 74 minutes into the game, Bryant Solis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Henrihs Linkūns came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the DZINTARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrihs Linkūns couldn't finish the play. Pål Bergmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute. When Egons Ozollapa fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DZINTARS's protests and gave Egons Ozollapa a yellow card for diving instead. Egons Ozollapa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Henrihs Linkūns left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DZINTARS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
