Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enes Saim got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruddi Stenskov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruddi Stenskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Köse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruddi Stenskov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruddi Stenskov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Köse's goalkeeper Ruddi Stenskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruddi Stenskov saved Köse from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruddi Stenskov came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruddi Stenskov having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Köse's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Afşin Ahsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Köse's Ruddi Stenskov got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 80 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Ruddi Stenskov managed to make a qualified save. Köse's players were relieved. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Köse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Köse's Ruddi Stenskov managed to reach the ball for a save.
