In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalkeeper Iosif Moisakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Iosif Moisakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Moisakos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iosif Moisakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Iosif Moisakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Iosif Moisakos did a great save. Iosif Moisakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sofoklis Atsidakos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Moisakos. ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Akheloos Evanggenelis's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akheloos Evanggenelis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Akheloos Evanggenelis got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalkeeper Iosif Moisakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Iosif Moisakos in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Iosif Moisakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teukros Nikolakakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iosif Moisakos was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalkeeper Iosif Moisakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Grigoris Laganas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
