Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Karp started the match with the kick off. The supporters of KS Junior booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Mohora in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Karp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mieszko Percha who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cristian Mohora put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. When Wawrzyniec Cebula came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the KS Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Cebula couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced KS Junior's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Brytan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after KS Junior's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Wawrzyniec Brytan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Karp, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match KS Junior got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mieszko Percha ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Wawrzyniec Brytan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wawrzyniec Brytan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Brytan having to interfere. KS Junior made a substitution. Marcin Kubat replaced Stefan Liermann. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Brytan having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, KS Junior's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Brytan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Michal Karp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Rakiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Rakiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 70 minutes into the game, one of KS Junior:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristian Mohora might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Mohora ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to KS Junior getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cristian Mohora hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Mohora in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Cristian Mohora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Mohora came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Rakiewicz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
