Freddy Mondorf kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Golembiewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PKS Marymont Warszawa's Gustaw Golembiewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Golembiewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after PKS Marymont Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaw Golembiewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in PKS Marymont Warszawa's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Golembiewski came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaw Golembiewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by PKS Marymont Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 35th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Gustaw Golembiewski. PKS Marymont Warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 38th minute, Dominik Zawada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes PKS Marymont Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Garrido. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Golembiewski having to interfere. Gustaw Golembiewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Golembiewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalkeeper Gustaw Golembiewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Gustaw Golembiewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute. Gustaw Golembiewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 71st minute. PKS Marymont Warszawa's Gustaw Golembiewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 75th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Golembiewski having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
