Ismael Secco hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Secco got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palmares Futebol Clube.
